The 2017 Nordic Tug 40 received the Peoples' Choice Award " at the Newport Boat Show. An updated version of the Nordic Tug 39, new features were designed to make life easier on board. A larger pilothouse, additional space salon, two staterooms (forward owners' stateroom has a walkaround queen bed with 6'6" headroom), and one head make her exceptionally cruise friendly. The cockpit, with boarding door on both sides, has been extended by two feet while the transom door leading from swim platform is centerline. A double glass door offers easy access to the salon and large L-shaped galley aft. The Nordic Tug 40 boasts excellent visibility from the pilothouse.
